Ryan Connors and Timothy Rosa Elected to IEEE Boston Entrepreneurs’ Network Advisory Board

West Newton, Mass.—February 22, 2012—Ryan Connors and Timothy Rosa of TRA360 have been selected to the IEEE Boston Entrepreneurs’ Network (ENET) Advisory Board.

IEEE Boston Entrepreneurs' NetworkRyan Connors, TRA360 Manager of Social Media and Brand Awareness, and Timothy Rosa, TRA360 founder & CEO, have been unanimously elected to the IEEE Boston Entrepreneurs’ Network (ENET) Advisory Board. ENET is a special interest group of the Boston Section of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers), the world’s largest professional organization with 375,000 members worldwide. The Boston Section provides nearly 20 meetings on technical and professional interest topics each year.

“We’re very pleased to have Ryan Connors and Valentina Rosa of TRA360 and Melissa Mellen of Wild Angel Cozy Company, LLC  on the ENET Advisory Board,” said Chairman Robert A. Adelson of Engel & Schultz, LLP, Boston, MA. “Since ENET’s founding 20 years ago in 1991, we’ve continuously tried to bring in new people. Ryan’s youthful enthusiasm and Tim’s and Melissa’s seasoned experience are perfect complements for the kinds of programs we work on and sponsor. Ryan has been doing a fine job on ENET alliances with other non-profits. Tim organized an excellent meeting for ENET in January on “Creating a Technology Service Company.”  Melissa has been doing a fine job planning our March 6 meeting on “Building an “A” Team with Little Money.”  All three are excellent individuals:  ‘roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-it-done types’ who will enhance ENET and the technology based entrepreneurs of Eastern New England we serve.”

Ryan Connors had this to say about being elected: “As the youngest member, it’s been an exciting challenge to be serving on the Ad Board. I like to think that I’m representing the voice of 20-something generation, which is an incredibly passionate and dedicated class of entrepreneurs. I’ve already worked on several new projects from identifying ENET Alliance partners to making the first successful Tweet-Up happen. As a young entrepreneur myself, the Ad Board is like having a whole team of mentors.”

Timothy Rosa has a lot of respect for ENET: “I’ve known about ENET for a while now; in fact, Ryan was the first one to introduce me to Robert and the organization. I learned more by chairing an ENET panel this past January which drew quite a crowd. In a geography known for entrepreneurship, ENET is one of the better known brands. I’m thrilled to be working with my colleagues on the Advisory Board.”
