Yesterday was my first tweet-up and it was awesome. It was Woburn’s first tweet-up and judging by the attendance it was a major success. The event was organized by David Crowley of Social Capital, a great non-profit focused on connecting the community. Everyone was there to talk about social media in person and on Twitter via the hashtag #tweetupwob.
It was great to share tips and tricks about social media marketing with other in the industry. My tip of the day was regarding a free service called Twitoria where users can tell who hasn’t tweeted recently and free up space. I really look forward to the next one, as everyone there was friendly and willing to share information. Great job David and friends! Read more about it here at the Woburn Patch write-up.
